The paintings Wizard 1 and 2 are almost identical. It appears Marian would sometimes paint a variation of a theme or perhaps “They” suggested she paint the same thing but a ltitle different. Both paintings are characteristic of her earlier works from the 1920s with fantasy imagry of a symbolic nature.
