“Wizard (1)” and “Wizard (2)” could be companion pieces as the subject matter is very similar or they are just different versions of them same thing, something she did sometimes. Both paintings are characteristic of her earlier paintings from the 1920s with fantasy imagery that appears symbolic in nature.
