A companion piece to “The Ship of Death.” I wish I could find a color or clearer image of this awesome painting but I’ve only seen it in old newspaper images and peaking behind Marian in a portrait of her in her art studio.
It was described as having “a blazing riot of gold sun and flower colors, strange hints of the sea, and a ship of adventure, glory, and hope.” I love that! Marian’s very stylized butterflies are also featured in this lovely painting.
