Spirit of the Storm (1)

This very large canvas depicts a bird diving. It was titled Spirit of the Storm but a later painting of Marian’s is also titled Spirit of the Storm. The two paintings are very similar in subject. It’s possible she titled them the same however, I found a 1925 mention of this work and it was referred to as Bird of the Storm. 
Marian often created variations of the same subject. Check out Bird of the Storm #2.
