I don’t know the exact dimensions of this painting but as you can see from the bottom image, it’s Marian’s standard large canvas. I was really curious what this painting would look like colorized. I have no idea how close the AI got in matching up the real colors but I just know this one is really cool looking in person. The second picture is a color image from her book “They.” The publisher clearly did not print colored images well but it probably shows just how bright this painting really was. I hope the painting is still out there somewhere. I am making an educated guess that this was painted somewhere around 1938. It has a similiar feel to her Snake Woman paintings from 1938.
